Horn of Africa Youth Agency of Australia (HAYAA) is constituted as a special interest group to reflect the high priority that HARDA accords to the youth sector. Its mission is to consult widely and engage with young people from the Horn of Africa countries and to develop projects and strategies which address their issues, in consultation with HARDA’s Executive Committee.
EVENTS
HAYAA Youth Conference: A series of workshops discussed issues affecting African Youth, which formed the basis of HAYAA first Youth Conference which was held in November 2010.
The Report and recommendations, 'Our Voices United, African Youth Speak', from the Youth Conference was launched on April 7th, during Youth Week and is now also available in hardcopy.
